Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Summer 2022 Intern Engineer in various Peraton sites, mostly in Virginia. Interns/Co-ops typically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree. Under direct supervision, the ideal candidate will design, develop, and test leading edge technology solutions in areas such as cybersecurity, satellite ground systems, information management systems, cloud computing, and mobility. They will work in a collaborative, team-oriented Agile software development environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• You are a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• You have completed progress toward a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• You have a foundation in object-oriented development, preferably in Java.
• You have the ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies and concepts
• You have hands-on experience through coursework and/or previous internships.

• 8 hour shift
