Working with the Commercial End User Computing Solution Engineering team you will be connected with a group dedicated to growth, learning and support. You will work closely with VMwarexe2x80x99s suite of cutting-edge enterprise technologies, modern business solutions and end user products such as Horizon and Workspace One. The EUC SE intern will gain exposure to discovering customer needs and requirements, understanding and demonstrating the value of VMware solutions, pitching implementation roadmapsxe2x80xaffor long term success. There will be projects along the course of the internship to demonstrate growth as well as the opportunity to shadow customer calls. The SE is a high impact, very visible role responsible for ensuring fit and adoption of VMware software and solutions and closing enterprise transactions. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the 10-week internship period? Within the first 2-4 weeks in role, you will be engaged in a variety of enablement and training designed to help you achieve proficiency in various technologies and concepts necessary for the role including: Windows environment, distribution technology, and end-user tools Network concepts like: TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP services, routing, and remote protocols (VPN, WAN Optimization, Remote Logon)xe2x80xaf oral and written communication skills and presentation abilitiesxe2x80xaf Problem solving and critical thinking skillsxe2x80xaf Within 5-7 weeks in role, you will begin shadowing colleagues and teammates on customer calls to learn how to deliver comprehensive demos and practice by delivering demos to the team. The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? You will review documentation and processes around a specific product line within EUC to evaluate to help simply and fill in gaps to help our customers further leverage the respective technology solution. You will shadow in depth product demos for customers, highlighting key product features and capabilities. Showing the versatility and value of various EUC products.
