Job/Internship Description
General Summary:
* A Dollar Tree/Family Dollar Operations internship provides the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of areas in Operations that are essential to running a business. Our stores serve billions of customers each year and this experience will enable you to a gain a perspective of the processes, systems, and partners required to operate 16,000 stores!
* Dollar Tree/Family Dollar is a Fortune 200 company operating in the value sector of brick and mortar retail. Interns will experience various projects and roles, gaining valuable hands on experience as part of our inclusive and collaborative culture. In addition, Interns will interact with all key functions of the organization - Merchandise, HR, Legal, Finance, IT, Supply Chain. This is a full time paid opportunity that runs in the summer of 2022
* Operations Interns will assist teams during rotations as part of Communications, Store Services, Indirect Sourcing, Labor, Budgeting, Analytics, and Project Management. Each rotation will deepen your knowledge of our business model, as well as the customers and communities we serve. This Operations Intern experience will also shape future internship programs at Dollar Tree/Family Dollar!
