CTC is seeking a computer science/information technology student to perform research and development activities for projects associated with software development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on a multi-disciplined team and will be involved in many areas of research, testing and development.
• Support CTC Internal Research and Development (IRAD) projects focused on machine learning cybersecurity technologies. Projects will require the application of data science, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and systems administration principles.

Basic Qualifications:

• The selected candidate must be pursuing a Master's Degree at an accredited university, majoring in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity or a related discipline, and have ideally completed at least one year of the program.
• Strong understanding of data science programming languages like Python or R, or familiar with cybersecurity tools like Splunk or ELK
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Apache Spark MLib and Amazon Machine Learning preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication and planning skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a diverse team
• Ability to work closely with project teams and potentially external clients to identify requirements
