We are currently seeking an Office Intern to assist with a variety of duties that will help to streamline the buying/fulfillment process, as well as customer service and sales responsibilities as well. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable new skill sets for a market representing 1/3 of the U.S. economy and one of the fastest-growing divisions within our company.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Interact with customers either by telephone or electronically
  • Provide pricing and delivery information to customers
  • Follow up on customer interactions
  • Back Order Report Management: Follows up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
  • Status Requests: Assist customer incoming status requests
  • Assistant with annual marketing strategies of catalogs, brochures, etc
  • Data entry using division's software
  • Data management to help assist the efficiency of the office

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills, high energy, and a focused, positive attitude are highly desirable.
  • Strong listening, analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are also beneficial.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (e-mail) programs.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Proven ability in supporting multiple projects simultaneously and working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
