Invacare continuously looks to improve, expand and broaden its existing product lines. In 2001, new product development was given an even stronger emphasis as part of Invacare's strategy to gain market share and maintain its competitive advantage. To this end, the company introduced 75 new products and plans to replace 90% of its major equipment product line sales by the end of 2003.
