As our Business Development Lead, you will be meeting the creators of tomorrow's most exciting companies before the rest of the world knows who they are. The investor coverage and business development team is responsible for developing long term relationships with key VCs, channels and industry partners in order to drive our acquisition engine. Our end clients range from early-stage to public innovation economy companies. Key to this role will be partnering with the entities who fund, advise, or serve founders early on, like accelerators, law firms, complementary financial groups and more.
This role is ideal for a leader with deep expertise on partnerships, sales, and business development, especially targeted towards early stage, innovation economy startups. Like the entrepreneurs we serve, you will also put on your entrepreneurial hat and continue to shape banking and financing offerings for founders who are just getting started.
Reporting to leadership on our business development team, the successful candidate will build effective internal networks with multiple teams across the bank, partnering with everyone from relationship managers, to product specialists, marketing and more.

For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $175,000.00 and $250,000.00.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
