Title: SLS - Media & Entertainment ISG (Industry Solutions Group)

Location: Los Angeles, CA OR NY

Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Media & Entertainment domain aligned Service Line Specialist to drive growth in M&E domain. This executive will be responsible for capitalizing on new business opportunities, establishing business solutions, and driving revenue growth within the M&E segment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead execution of comprehensive business development strategy to expand our footprint in M&E, particularly in media supply chain, rights & royalties, content ecosystems, media commerce and sports/gaming.
  • Identify and partner with potential clients, fostering relationships with key influencers/ collaborators in the industry and in Cognizant through value-based domain selling.
  • Collaborate with client partners, technical teams to identify white spaces in the client's landscape and craft tailored network solutions and proposals aligned with our customer needs.
  • Come with and stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead business and technical/ functional discussions, client value discovery workshops, and ensure revenue success with clients and partners.
  • Role will carry a sales target (revenue and TCV) that would need to be met/exceeded by implementing effective GTM strategies and initiatives, working with broadcasters, OTT providers, Media and Entertainment companies, sports/gaming entities.
  • Key responsibility would be to craft up technology solutions into client aligned business solutions and stitch/articulate a comprehensive value proposition to clients.
  • Be travel read to drive due diligence, value discovery workshops, proposal defense presentations with clients across the globe.
  • Experience in establishing and nurturing partnerships through relationships, asset creation and GTM and shaping/driving the right fit operating model with partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in engineering or a related field.
  • Successful record of 20+ years in being a SME in media space.
  • Deep business and techno-functional understanding of media supply chain, content ecosystem and commerce, OTT/streaming, rights management, Hyperscalers M&E fabric, gaming, sports.
  • Has driven revenue targets to the tune of $20M-$25M in TCV and ($8M--$10M ACV)
  • Deep knowledge or execution experience in any one of these areas - CRM, DRM, MDM, Rights, Media SCM, content commerce, content publishing, OTT, linear distribution, ad sales, production, cloud, and edge solutions, DOCSIS and adept in driving techno-functional deals/propositions with the clients and partners.
  • Strong connects within the Media & Entertainment industry and ability to build and nurture client relationships as the "Go-To" advisor on the subject area covering Day -1 to Day 3 scenarios.
  • Ideally should have worked with or for 2 or more leading M&E, broadcasting, content, OTT or gaming companies or new age media companies around the globe.
  • Should be an exponent in bringing out Gen AI use cases in media customer and content journeys, ad play
  • Outstanding communication, Customers/ Partners/ team members management, and articulate presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS/ MBA highly preferred
  • Compelling storyteller and impactful in conversations with customers
  • Ability to contribute to new business development efforts and to lead multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Must be detail oriented and able to lead and maintain all facets of complex assignments
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with the skills to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications
  • Demonstrate the flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments, industries, and technical and non-technical audiences

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $165,00 - $208,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
