The Job/What You'll Do:
As an Engagement Consultant for the leading provider of holistic support for independent financial advisors, you'll join an elite sales team vital to successfully engage, or re-engage, relationships with advisors committed to meeting their client's financial wellness needs. In this high-impact role, you'll focus on uncovering, cultivating, and growing the sales opportunities which represent the biggest impact to AssetMark's strategic growth initiatives.
Engagement Consultants focus on re-engaging with existing advisor relationships whose use of the AssetMark platform has stalled and their production levels have significantly slowed, or, in some cases, come to a halt. Additionally, Engagement Consultants will support advisors who are newer to the AssetMark platform, but not entirely bought into taking advantage of the resources provided just yet, to position AssetMark as a key part of their client solution process moving forward. Advisors supported by the Engagement Consultant will span multiple territories with the over-arching goal of jump-starting the evolution of their businesses and fully taking advantage of all the benefits that AssetMark has to offer.
Through leveraging both new & enhanced capabilities, products, ideas, and support, you will inspire advisors to not only become the most impactful financial advisors they can be within their communities, but also set them on the right path in pursuing personal goals which they have established for the growth of their businesses. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing industry, you will be one of the integral first engagements during an Advisor's journey with AssetMark prior to launching them to the most appropriate team member who can best support them in continuing to accomplish their goals with AssetMark. The Engagement Consultant will be based in Chicago, Phoenix, or Encino and will have a hybrid work schedule of in-office and working from home. Expected travel to company and territory events is 30% for this position.
We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to any of our office locations in either Phoenix, AZ, Encino, CA, or Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
Work within assigned territories to uncover opportunities for engaging, or re-engaging, with new and existing financial advisors through developing plans to re-start or increase production amongstthe advisor base.

Education & Experience:
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $55,000-$65,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
