Overview

As an Environmental Specialist you will provide technical input on environmental monitoring and design or construction methods to ensure compliance with environmental specifications or regulatory standards fo. r that project. This role will support our Southwest region which includes Los Angeles to San Diego.

What you will be doing
    Audits, analyzes and reports environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Works with design and construction team advising how to avoid and minimize adverse environmental effects.
  • Carries out impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce the organization's environmental risks and financial costs.
  • Writes environmental reports for supervisor review and leadership presentation.
  • Promotes and raises awareness, at all levels of the organization, of the impact of emerging environmental issues, whether legislative or best practice.
  • Perform additional assignments per management's direction.
  • Coordinates public hearings and consultations on environmental matters.
  • Trains staff at all levels in environmental issues and responsibilities.
  • Participates in environmental education and research.
  • Maintains knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan.
  • Support published corporate policies.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or an environmental related field required.
  • QSP certification preferred.
  • Experience in the construction industry, environmental monitoring, and permit implementation preferred.

USD $72,000.00/Yr.
Salary Max
USD $75,000.00/Yr.
Vehicle Program
* Personal Vehicle Allowance Tier I: $750 USD/month
