We're looking for a Resource Management Coordinator to join as a member of Procore's Professional Services (PS) team. In this role, you'll partner with PS Operations, and report to the Manager of PS Operations to contribute to the overall success of our resource management functions. The Resource Management Coordinator is crucial in optimizing resource allocation, supporting resource management initiatives, and ensuring the seamless delivery of Procore's services. This position is ideal for someone with 2-4 years of related experience and at least two years within a consulting firm or professional services organization.

As a Resource Management Coordinator, you will support resource allocation by assigning the right person, to the right project, at the right time, optimizing utilization. You've proven your ability in capacity planning, and know how to collaborate with team leads to assess project timelines, workloads, and resource availability for effective planning.

Project coordination is another key responsibility, this includes conducting project-related activities, developing relevant content and materials as needed, and facilitating interactions between teams. Successful candidates are adaptable, embrace change, and are eager to take on new challenges.

This position reports to our Manager of Professional Services Operations and will be based in our Carpinteria, CA, Austin, TX, San Diego, CA offices or remote.

What you'll do:

  • Resource Allocation: Assist in the allocation of resources based on project requirements, skills, and schedules, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with individual skills and project needs.

  • Capacity Planning: Collaborate with team leads to assess project timelines, workloads, and resource availability, contributing to effective capacity planning.

  • Project Coordination: Work closely with Managers to understand project scopes, timelines, and resource needs, ensuring timely and appropriate allocation.

  • Salesforce Reporting: Utilize internal reporting tools to generate insights into resource utilization, project progress, and overall team performance.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with multiple stakeholders, including Project Managers, Team Leads, and other relevant teams, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

  • Resource Management Initiatives: Support resource management initiatives and contribute ideas for continuous process improvements within the resource management function.

  • Professional Services Automation: Become a trusted advisor on our Professional Services Automation (PSA) software, support users, and contribute to the success of PSA as it relates to resource management.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in a resource management, consulting, or project coordinator role

  • Understanding of the foundations of resource management and the importance of meeting utilization goals

  • Experience contributing to capacity planning, leveraging a skills matrix, and assessing project timelines/workloads to streamline operations.

  • Exposure to a Professional Services Automation Software. Exposure to Certinia is a plus.

  • Ability to create materials for resource management enablement

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexible, Adaptable, and willing to learn new things

  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities

QualificationsAdditional Information

Base Pay Range $72,280 - $99,385. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
