Overview

The Program/Project Manager 3 should have the ability to develop requirements, adhere to schedules, develop and execute project plans, meet deadlines, operate under tight time constraints. Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate complex ideas and information to different audiences and levels. This is a hybrid role, 8am -5pm, in-office on Wednesdays.

Responsibilities
    The candidate for this position will support Cybersecurity Program and Project Management to be responsible for service portfolio maturity and project outcomes.
  • Projects included deploying or upgrading new and existing cybersecurity applications and administering the ongoing service functions in partnership with Engineers.
  • The role is an individual contributor partnering closely various technical teams in supporting the enterprise, managing project milestones/tasks, documenting process/project methodologies, and authoring program/ service guidance and procedures.
Qualifications

Required Skills/Attributes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in managing large scale projects and use of associated management tools and techniques.
  • Must have a technical understanding of cybersecurity technologies, and terminology.
  • Exposure to collaborating with Cybersecurity Engineers.
  • Experience keeping multiple projects on track simultaneously, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in project management; process coordination, technical outcome prioritization, and delivery of sensitive communications across domains.
  • Cybersecurity exposure defining, clarifying, and develop project scope definitions.
  • Must develop and maintain project plans in Microsoft Project Plan.
  • Must organize and maintain project resource plans.
  • Must coordinate activities with cross functional teams.
  • Manages various ad hoc projects required to mature programs, processes, and service.
  • Exposure to calculating project earned value.
  • Maintain responsibility and visibility of project risks and milestone commitments.
  • Track project status and provide simplified monthly project status reporting.
  • Support technical Cybersecurity Engineering lead in customer service function with collaboration and communication across teams to ensure Cybersecurity initiatives are supported by business and technology stakeholders.
  • Administer and document the day-to-day service functions in support of Cybersecurity Engineers and Program Management.
  • Experience working closely with technology management to facilitate, document, and present project priorities and service maturity roadmaps.
  • Able to analyze and report impact of shifting priorities within the Cybersecurity portfolio to accommodate agile business strategies.
  • Communicates with technology management across infrastructure domains, to facilitate roadmaps and identify risks of potential misalignment with service objectives to project outcomes.
  • Familiar with maturing process, project delivery metrics, critical success factors, and key performance indicators.
  • Must be within commuting distance of report to work location.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.

Desired Skills/Attributes

  • Experience administratively managing a Cybersecurity portfolio such as vulnerability management, or network security.
  • ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Project Portfolio Management.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • Familiar with NERC CIP.
  • Familiar with Scrum Agile Framework.
  • Exposure with SharePoint site development to maintain service landing pages.
  • Assist in the design, development, and publishing of operational, performance dashboards in Excel and/ or PowerBI.

Wage Data Per State Requirements

The Salary range for this position is $88,899 - $111,134. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
