Job Description
As a Business Banking Center Manager, you will provide leadership, organization, planning, and direction for a team of Business Bankers with self-generating business development opportunities. Drive business development efforts to build deposits, loans, and banking services in the designated market area.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
  • Develop and direct the sales, marketing, and business development plan for a team of Business Bankers. Source and hire high performing employees.
  • Responsible for delivering expected deposit and loan production for the team.
  • Develop and manage income and expense budget for the team.
  • Develop and lead the business banking team to increase the number of full-service relationships in the assigned market area.
  • Responsible for ensuring the team develops and maintains necessary relationships with line of business partners, branch managers, and related staff to facilitate a team environment and successful product and service delivery.
  • Responsible for participating in events, promotions, and community activities in the assigned market area. Create awareness of the Bank and its services through community activity.
  • Assist and support team and other bank partners to manage existing client relationships.
  • Responsible for complying with, and ensuring staff follows, policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations. Ensure staff members are trained in sales, service, and lending skills.

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science or other related field required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
Experience
  • 8 or more years of experience in business banking and business development
  • 2 or more years of experience in a supervisory/management role leading a project, process or team Required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proven ability to develop and manage business relationships.
  • Basic understanding of loan underwriting and appropriate business credit structure.
  • Proven effective presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of management and supervisory principles, policies, and legal requirements. Proven ability to motivate staff in the areas of sales, service, and quality.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Possess strong leadership and team-building skills. Demonstrated training and performance coaching skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to commercial lending.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Targeted starting compensation range is based on location and experience: $148,056 - $174,184
  • Incentive and commission compensation may be awarded for eligible roles
