	Position Description
	- Maintain and develop the Library's extensive web site on the RAND intranet; - Virtual outreach and training; - Work with library management to develop and implement an integrative strategy for providing services and resources in a virtual environment; - Develop an online training and outreach program for the RAND Library; - Assist in development and maintenance of the Library's LibGuides implementation; - In person outreach and training; - Working with Library staff, develop in-person programs and training to raise visibility and use of Library resources and services in RAND's offices.
	Qualifications
	Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the integration of new technologies into the delivery of information services; demonstrated experience using Web 2.0 tools and web development tools; and evidence of leadership ability, professional initiative, and flexibility. Comfortable working in an environment where virtual teams and remote clients are the norm; familiarity with technologies such as online video (Camtasia), Adobe Pro, Dreamweaver, podcasting, blogging; experience developing and leading in-person training programs; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects; excellent oral and written communication skills.
	Education Requirements
	ALA accredited MLS or equivalent
	Experience
	5 years professional experience in a research or corporate setting

	Desirable: An advanced degree in one of RAND's core research areas; U.S. Citizenship; an active Secret clearance.
